Strong Base

Push-ups, plank, and water — the strength habit that doesn't need a gym

The 100 Push-Ups program anchors this Journey, with a plank hold and daily water alongside it. Bodyweight strength, no equipment.

Strong Base pairs the 100 Push-Ups program with a plank hold and a daily water target. The push-ups plan is the anchor: a calibration test sets your number, then a deterministic, day-by-day plan autoregulates from there. The plank and water habits run alongside it without competing for your attention.

Why bundle these

Push-ups build pressing strength. A plank hold builds the core stability that keeps your push-up form from breaking down as the sets get harder. Water is just there because dehydration makes everything, including strength training, feel worse than it should. None of the three needs equipment or a gym.

What a day looks like

Open your push-up program and log the prescribed sets. Start the plank timer and hold to your target. Drink your water target across the day. The push-up plan follows its own progression — some days are training days, some are rest days — and the plank and water habits run every day regardless.

Who it’s for

Anyone who wants a visible strength number to chase (a full set of 100 push-ups) without adding a gym membership or new equipment to their week.
